Neil won the City of Melbourne Championship for the first time, clearing the round-robin stages on top of his group, and then defeating defending champion Rudy Sulaeman 4-1 in the final.
Neil received the inaugural Peter Gray Cup, an enduring tribute to one of Australia's best-loved cue sports ambassadors. Peter Gray was known for his achievements as a player, coach and referee. In his acceptance speech after the final, Neil paid tribute to Peter's key influence and frequent contributions to Neil's early development.
One of the tournament's aims was to raise funds for the Challenge kids charity, so please visit the Challenge web site to learn about the great work they do supporting children and families affected by cancer.

Neil won the Kings Australia Cup for the second time, edging past Australia's #1 ranked player Glen Wilkinson 3-2 in the semi-finals, and defeating Australian #2 Aaron Mahoney 4-1 in the final.
